The Renaissance period in art brought change, by 1425 The ancient roman world was dead and there was a new age of ideas, with new wealth from Florentine merchants a vision was inspired from architecture. In Rome ideas of Italy's past were funded thus art and science were born to history. The greatest feat of Mathematics in Architecture was preformed in using a dome as a roof because it became a maintenance free trade mark for Florence, this is nearly the size of a football stadium. Only today do they know how it was built as this herring bone pattern design was built from the outside. The roofing was constructed by men placing the bricks on the outside working inward with ropes it is a very strong structure.
The renaissance movement began in Italy and quickly spread across Europe, profoundly influence the worlds of literature, science and art. It brought a rebirth of classical art and what classical art is today. But with a new effaces on astronomy, movement, expression, depth of field and scientific perspective. The real difference is that art could be seen in three dimensional images that wouldn’t decay. Life like depiction of historical subjects and religious imagery could be displayed. By the time this movement peeked in the early 1500 century, the Flemish painters of the Netherlands had introduced landscapes and still life subjects with a great deal of emphases on light and shadow. The most famous examples of this era are brought by Michelangelo’s work inside the Vatican’s Sistine chapel. Also Leonardo Da Vinci work with Mona Lisa the masters of this Renaissance period were Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Correggio, Botticelli and many more from grate old schools of art.
